We are very conscious of the importance of welfare assistance for all young people at this crucial stage of their development. We have a well developed personal tutoring system and students are encouraged to discuss their concerns with appropriate members of staff. Where a student needs specialist professional help we will assist them to find the appropriate help to suit their needs.

All students are given study skills lessons to aid their contextual work. Support systems are in places for all students, including those with disabilities.

Two students from each year and programme group are encouraged to join the Academic Board where they are then given the opportunity to voice any ideas or concerns they or their fellow students may have at meetings.
