The
College offers a relaxed and professionally disciplined environment
with students working flexibly every weekday and attending specialist
workshops and rehearsals on some weekends. Technical classes
are organised so that students of the same standard may study
together, even if in a different year.
Male students have separate Ballet, Modern and Singing classes
augmented with weight training. Choreographic potential is encouraged
during weekly workshops and classes and is rewarded through participation
in events such as the prestigious ‘Dancing Times Cup for
Choreography’. Second and third year students have the
opportunity to study for additional examinations and qualifications
at weekends and during holiday periods. These include ISTD Majors
(up to Advanced) and the ISTD Associate Diploma in Tap and Modern
Theatre Branch. |
